History of Oakbrook Custom Homes
In 2002, Ed Galli, a leading builder in Southwest Florida with 30 years experience, merged with House Construction of suburban Atlanta and North Carolina, owned by Peggy Brown Galli. A new entity evolved called Oakbrook Custom Homes, Inc. The new entity features the traditional stately design of the South together with strong South Florida construction.
Oakbrook Custom Homes, Inc. designs and builds homes using the latest hurricane protection. Impact windows, 150mph wind loads, and special engineering are featured in nearly all of our homes.
The merger with House Construction adds distinctive standard options such as flagstone terraces, marble countertops, exotic hardwood flooring, and extensive southern charm.
With the advent of energy efficient building techniques, Oakbrook Custom Homes earmarks green building technology with little impact on the construction budget. Adopting stringent green building practices has a huge impact on energy consumption and air quality.
